Fun Facts
You will find I am a very creative person by nature. I learn best through hands-on and visual diagrams. Both these aspects help me plan more fun and enriching activities to help others learn and study. Additionally I’m originally from Montana so excuse the “y’all”s haha!
About Me
I am a Sophomore Elementary and Early Education major currently on break from school due to the pandemic. In the meantime I’ve been self-studying and stepping into educational environments. I hope to go back to school when I am able and study not only education but in addition, business to explore multiple paths at the same time. Nannying and teaching are my dream and I hope to run my own daycare or classroom someday.
Experience
I’ve had experience in leadership positions such as founder and president of my own home economics club, art director of a environment preserving club, and captain of my club at Relay for Life in high school. I’ve also experienced in-classroom as English 4 honors teacher’s assistant in my senior year of high school and teacher’s assistant in a daycare. At the base of it all I have been a nanny on and off duty for 8 years.
Approach
As a high honors student through my academic life and my strive to get my Masters degree in Elementary Ed/Early Ed through college, I take education very seriously. My goal is to become a teacher, making school fun and building a strong structure for students passion to learn and study.
I'm open to teaching subjects in math, science (strongest in chemistry) reading, writing, and arts (sewing, crafting, painting, etc.)

Successfully completed Pre-Algebra/Algebra 1 in middle school with an A before high school. Additionally attended a math and science club while helping tutor other peers on workdays in the classroom. In high school, I completed Geometry Honors with an A, Algebra 2 with a B, College Algebra with an A, and Statistics with a high A before my senior year.
Algebra Tutoring
Successfully completed Pre-Algebra/Algebra 1 in middle school with an A before high school. Additionally attended a math and science club while helping tutor other peers on workdays in the classroom. In high school, I completed Geometry Honors with an A, Algebra 2 with a B, College Algebra with an A, and Statistics with a high A before my senior year.
Arts Tutoring
Attended many art classes, clubs, summer camps, etc throughout life, further pushing my passion to learn art on my own time too. In high school, I completed 2-D Art with an A, Digital Video 1 and 2 with high As, Ceramics/Pottery with an A, Creative Writing with an A, and Theatre Tech 1 and 2 with As.
On my own I learned sewing, crafting, knitting, acrylic painting, wood shop, origami, font-work, and traditional native beadwork.
Chemistry Tutoring
I thoroughly enjoyed my chemistry class in high school, ending the semester with an A. My teacher noticed my advancement and requested me to help my peers in class too. I also completed Physical Science with an A and Biology Honors with an A in high school.
I hope to make a comic book series in the future all about the periodic table of elements too.
AP English Tutoring
In high school, I completed English 1, 2 and 3 Honors with As. Additionally I helped TA an English 3 Honors class for a previous teacher; and completed College Writing with an A, English Literature with an A, and English 4 Elective Holocaust and Crime Literature my senior year.
Geography Tutoring
I completed AP Human Geography in my freshman year with a strong A, receiving above 100% on country/capital on world map quizzes. Additionally I love traveling with my family and some of my friends in high school were foreign exchange students.
Geometry Tutoring
Successfully completed Pre-Algebra/Algebra 1 in middle school with an A before high school. Additionally attended a math and science club while helping tutor other peers on workdays in the classroom. In high school, I completed Geometry Honors with an A, Algebra 2 with a B, College Algebra with an A, and Statistics with a high A before my senior year.
On another note, I use geometry non-stop when I'm sewing and crafting.
Study Skills Tutoring
I thoroughly feel comfortable teaching organization with planners, backpacks, note-taking, etc as I was very organized elementary to high school. All my assignments were in designated folders, my due dates were planned out on my planner, and my backpack carried all essentials for a successful day. Additionally, I continue to plan activities and reward boards for my previous teaching or daycare jobs, and plan/create projects of all forms.

In high school I also worked on my weakness in physical education, gaining an A in class and losing 40 pounds myself. I also learned more about proper diets and nutrition, gaining another A in high school Health.

I am also in school for Elementary Education and taking courses in these matters over time.

We learned aspects about the camera, editing, hotkeys, script-writing, and more. Additionally I can get advice from my partner who is currently studying film and creating his own short film/feature film scripts.
Basic Computer Skills Tutoring
I have briefly helped an older woman manage mail subscriptions, creating invoices, and further computer organization with her work in montessori schools in Montana. I can work with basic skills in Microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint, and I can also work with google drive documents, powerpoints, excel sheets, and google forms. I have also worked with Mailchimp.
