Fun Facts

I love music with a passion, and actually play the drums and piano. I'm open to any type of genre and can like a little something out of everything I hear. I also enjoy playing sports and staying fit. I used to run the 100 & 200 m dash back in high school and throw the discus for my school's track team. Right now I'm enrolled at houston">the houston">University of Houston where I'm studying Biology in order to go to medical school after I graduate to work on becoming a doctor in the field of pediatrics.

About Me

I'm currently a freshman at houston">the houston">University of Houston majoring in biology. After graduation, I plan on attending medical school in order to further my education and accomplish my long term goal of becoming a pediatrician. I always try my hardest and am a very competitive person. Becoming a doctor and going through medical school may seem like a very long and difficult, but that doesn't frighten me. I'm up for the challenge.

During my junior and senior years of high school, I began houston">tutoring for the first time through the National Honor Society. I worked with fellow students and underclassmen on a weekly basis and I always got as much out of doing it as they did. Now, I work with Frog houston">Tutoring and I can't wait to work with any new students who could use my help!

When I houston">tutor a student I work very patiently with them. I let them show me and explain to me what they do or do not understand. If they can't even figure out what they do or do not understand in a problem or subject, I'll guide and point them in the right direction to figure that out, aiding them at every step of the way. I understand how certain subjects don't always click right away. I, just as everybody else, has had that happen to me too and I know how frustrating it can be. I love to help out whenever I can and I promise to do my best to teach any student what I know to make the learning easier.
