About Me

I moved to LA from Chicago in the summer of 2021. I've always loved working with kids, which is why I went to school to become an elementary school teacher. I'm hard-working, enthusiastic and I strive to make learning fun for all students!

Experience

I am a certified elementary school teacher. I graduated from Roosevelt University with a bachelors in elementary education. I have 5+ years of experience teaching in a variety of classrooms including Pre-K, 2nd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade. In addition to the core elementary subjects, I am also certified to teach dramatic arts.

Approach

I was very ambivalent about school as a kid, particularly math, but I had several teachers who made me feel encouraged and supported. I became a teacher to help kids have fun while learning and feel confident in their abilities.
