Fun Facts
An education is your key to the world! I just spent 2 months studying the socio-political history of both Portugal & Span in preparation for a trip to the two countries.
About Me
I am a young alumni of the University of Virginia, graduating from the School of Architecture in 2020. While at University I majored in Architecture (with a Pre-Professional concentration) while minoring in Art & Architectural History. I filled my days at UVA working with Make-A-Wish, serving on our Honor Council, and working as a student instructor for various design and writing based courses, as well as doing design research at Monticello & James Monroe Highland.
Experience
Throughout my time at UVA I worked as a student instructor (think traditional TA - but I taught my own sections of students twice a week!) for various design & writing based classes. In this capacity I taught material, graded coursework, and worked with students to identify strengths and weaknesses within our class material to enhance their educational experience.
Approach
Access to an education is one of the most wonderful gifts we can be given in this life; however, that does not mean it does not come with its own particular set of stressors. I am excited to work with you, or your child, to develop a personal approach to the subjects at hand that reframes learning as a tool to be used to expand our world view and futures, rather than a source of stress and anxiety.
