Experience

Private tutor in math and physics to TCU and NC State students. I have taken many math and science courses in my time at university. I also frequently help in study groups among my peers and assist friends in other classes.

Approach

Focus on the foundations and understanding why, not just the formulae. I will look at what the student is having trouble with and investigate the root issue and work on from there. Practice is key, and mistakes lead to learning. It is not helpful to give out the answer, but instead to guide the student there by working through each step.
