Fun Facts
I love to read and write a lot. I am currently writing about my travels to Africa where I was kicked by a zebra at my lodge.
About Me
I am currently working on publishing several books, as well as, setting up an online writing class to help teach individuals to write memoirs. I love the fresh air and find my inspirations in nature.
Experience
I am a mother of four children of which all went on to get advanced degrees in medicine, law, engineering and nutrition. I am proud of them and look forward to helping other individuals who need the motivation to keep going and become the person they want to be. No child left behind.
Approach
As a child in elementary school, I stuttered and had difficulty pronouncing words. Because of that, I became introverted and disliked reading or speaking in public. This experience taught me to be patient. When some children don’t do well, it is not because they are not smart. They just need a different approach. Every child is different. I know, I have four.

US English is my native language. I have taken several undergraduate and graduate courses which strengthen my English teachings. I have an MA in English degree.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I’ve tutored my four children who have gone on to receive advanced degrees. English and writing are my speciality, but having good study habits is what it is all about, as well as consistent study times. Motivation is a process by which the doors to successful grades are first open. Learning can be fun and it’s my job to help students love it!

Writing Tutoring
Middle school is where I read my first novel. Reading is key to learning how to write. At this stage, students are at the perfect age to craft and write fiction, and learn the basics of writing essays.
Math Tutoring
Focusing on math is sometimes best done with pictures. I love to play games and incorporate the student’s interests in learning math. My highest level of math was college Calculus.
Reading Tutoring
This is a fun age learning and playing with words, and entering the world of fiction. Reading comprehension can be mixed with language arts to make reading fun.
Basic Computer Skills Tutoring
I majored in computer science in college and have grown to love all things digital. I work with MACs and pc’s and have a history of learning and teaching others (all ages) tips and shortcuts for making learning computer basics easy.

I have furthered my education with a Masters of English and creative writing because I love writing and reading.
