I can play 8 instruments! Wich includes guitar ukulele mandolin banjo harmonica and Native American flute piano and dulcimer. I also enjoy going outside and just being in the sun.

About Me

Hi, I am Michael LaPlante and I have a bachelor’s in education and recently became a state licensed Indiana teacher. I have always dreamed of being a teacher. I am passionate and a very patient individual who has had many hours of experience when it comes to working in different grade levels and different schools. I will not be offended by people analyzing my classroom and I find input very valuable. I will make sure that children will have the best environment for learning.

Experience

2.5 years in class teaching experience and half a year virtual teaching.

Approach

Building amazing relationships and being over the top to draw attention. I have always really gotten along really well with kids because I'm kind of a goofy teacher and my students often really love that about me. I often have students reaching out to me from years past who had me as a teacher and thanking me for what I had done for them.
