Fun Facts
I love being creative. I enjoying learning about a new craft, a new way of creating pretty things. The one art form that I have stuck to long-term is painting.
About Me
I am a speech-language pathologist working in a middle school. I really enjoy this age group. I have experience working with kids from pre-K to high school and beyond.
Experience
I have been a speech-language pathologist for 16 years.
Approach
I use a child-centered approach when working with students. I am familiar with adapting a lesson plan to match what the student sees as motivating - there is almost always another way to work on a particular skill. I want the student to be able to find their own answers, and to have strategies to use in the classroom or when doing homework on their own.
