Fun Facts
I'm a classically trained Shakespearean actress! I've studied in Oxford (BADA) and throughout the United States to combine my academic approach to early modern drama with actual dramatic training, and I'm currently working on a commissioned sequel to my one-woman play "Hamlet?"
About Me
I'm a graduate of Yale University, where I double majored in English and Theater Studies (Honors). I focused on early modern texts, creative writing, acting, and philosophy, leaving with the ability to dissect any text I came across and a 3.82 GPA (cum laude).
Experience
As a student, I worked as a tutor for my peers in Latin, English, French, and Algebra. Later on, I continued to develop my teaching abilities as a substitute teacher at Friends Seminary and as a teacher and counselor at the Brooklyn Strategist, teaching role playing and strategy games to students ages 7-20.
Approach
I believe in equipping my students with multiple solutions for any problem and empowering them to take the lead in figuring out which solution is most useful for solving a given problem. I also believe in nurturing the passions and interests that my students already have: it's my honor and privilege to encourage those passions to flourish through building up students' confidence and skills.
