I love to travel and I am a big foodie, Not only will I indulge in eating, but I can cook and bake as well, my favorite dishes are seafood, pasta, and burgers. My specialty baking dish is cheesecake.

I have been in the education field for over 10 years, I have worked in public schools as a 1:1 bilingual assistant and co-teacher. I have also worked in an after school program serving a counselor and moved into the director role,

Experience

I have tutored students in grades K-8th for about 10 years in Math, Reading Comprehension, and Writing

Approach

As a tutor, its important for me engage with the student and family so we are all on the same page. I let the students know that I too struggled with the same content and that using the strategies that I am now utilizing with them is why I am able to be in a position to give them guidance. I correlate the material with real life situations, especially with something the student likes.

I encourage confidence & approach the subject content as a "fun project" instead of simply work
