Fun Facts
I love to hike and explore nature. I also enjoy developing my own cooking recipes.
About Me
I have taught mostly high school art for 8 years. Two years ago I decided to pursue my masters and now in my final year of pursuing my masters in ceramics at Ball State University. I hope that when I finish I will find a position as a college professor teaching ceramic art classes.
Experience
I have worked with students of all ages helping them find their voice in the visual arts. Other duties as a former teacher, I have tutored students in a variety of topics such as reading, math, writing, Spanish, and English as a Second language.
Approach
Tutoring and teaching requires patience and a strong understanding of the learning process for a variety of learners. I know that each learner I encounter has a special skill set and understanding they bring to the table. I believe that it is my responsibility to help that learner not only become increasingly proficient in the topic they are desiring to learn but also develop strategies to help them tackle future challenges and to be confident and successful in that endeavor.
