Arts Tutoring

I have taken Art Appreciation, Art History l, Art History ll, Nineteenth-Century Art, and Aesthetics in Visual Art. I am currently working on a minor in Curatorial Studies.

Geology Tutoring

I have taken Earth Science in college which consists of both Historical and Physical Geology, as well as Meteorology and Oceanography.

History Tutoring

I have a Psychology major in my senior year with a 4.0 GPA. I have taken Texas History, American History, and Art History l & ll in college, and Aesthetics Historical Philosophy, earning A’s in all of those courses. I have taught History/Social Studies to my homeschool students from 2nd grade through high school level.

Study Skills Tutoring

I took Learning Frameworks in college which greatly helped hone my college-level study skills. I have also taught study, organization, planning, and note-taking skills to my homeschool students from elementary to high school level. I taught a Foundations course to my high school students which emphasized college prep, study, and life-skills.

Psychology Tutoring

I have taken Biology, General Psychology, Lifespan Growth and Development, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Biological Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Positive Psychology, Mental Health Services, and Statistical and Research Methods in Psychology.

Writing Tutoring

I have taken Composition and Technical and Business Writing courses in college, earning A’s. Courses required for Psychology majors are writing heavy, and I have earned A’s on every writing assignment. With that, comes experience with APA, MLA, and Chicago formatting which is crucial to college-prep and college-level classes.
I have also taught the writing process as a homeschool teacher elementary-high school levels.

Geography Tutoring

I have taught Social Studies to my homeschool students from 2nd grade through high school level. I have taught concepts of social studies that include citizenship of community, history ( local, national, and global), and geography (regional and physical) as appropriate to grade level. I greatly enjoyed teaching Physical Geography on a high school level to my students.

Earth Science Tutoring

I have taught Earth Sciences to my homeschool students from 2nd grade through high school level. I have taken Earth Science and Biology in college earning A’s in both those classes. .

Homework Coach Tutoring

I have over 9 years experience homeschooling my 3 sons. I have helped them with homework when they were previously in public school. I place great emphasis on teaching note-taking, organization and planning skills which become crucial in both high school and college levels.

Voice (Music) Tutoring

I am a classically trained vocalist with an array of past vocal performance and recording experience. Over my life, I have acquired 9 years of vocal training. I have experience performing with choirs and show choirs. I also have vast experience performing solo on circuit and stand-alone venues.
