About Me

I am an alumni from UC Santa Cruz where I received my BA in Mathematics. I am currently exploring various teaching opportunities, including getting my teaching credential.

Experience

I have been tutoring for nearly 10 years now, primarily math (though also Spanish). I have worked with students of all ages and all learning approaches/abilities. I have tutored privately, as well as at learning centers and various after school programs.

Approach

I approach every student and every session with an open mind. I aim to meet the student wherever they presently are at, with whatever challenge they have, and work together with the student to facilitate their learning and discovery process to make it a fruitful and enjoyable one. My tools are patience, creativity, perseverance, simplicity and enthusiasm.
