I am an Elementary Education major at National Louis University. I come from a family of educators and am super interested in creating "light-bulb" moments.

Experience

Most recently I am a math tutor through the Tutor-Corps program implemented by Chicago Public Schools to reacclimate students to in-school instruction following the pandemic. I have over 10 years of experience working with students to help to reacquaint them with their innate ability to learn and succeed.

Approach

I'm interested in building on fundamental knowledge. Often, I've run into students who are fully capable of doing the work but missing essential elements that will boost their confidence and improve their abilities to grasp and excel at the content area. My ultimate goal is to help students find the keys to unlock their super learning powers.
