One passion of mine is painting! When I have free time from my tedious class schedule, I create acrylic paintings to display in my home. I enjoy painting for relaxation and my personal enjoyment.
About Me
I am a sophomore at the University of Texas at San Antonio studying Nursing. I enjoy my laboratory classes the most, and I love learning about medical sciences. I look forward to applying to Nursing school next summer and furthering my education.
Experience
As an experienced childcare provider, I’ve had experience educating a younger audience. During my summers before college, I spent majority of my time continuing my younger brothers’ education along with his fellow classmates and friends.
Approach
As a child, I struggled asking for help and seeking the help I needed to succeed. As a future heath care provider, I’ve made it my responsibility to stress the importance of communication and asking for assistance when needed. No child or adult should struggle alone.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I have taken Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory at the University of Texas at San Antonio during Spring of 2022. I received an A in both the laboratory and lecture portion of the class. I am preparing to take Anatomy and Physiology II during the Fall semester of 2022. I am a Nursing student, so I can continue to refresh my Anatomy and Physiology knowledge by teaching it to others.
Biology Tutoring
I have taken Contemporary Biology in college during Fall 2021 semester. I received a B in college level biology and I still possess all notes from the course. I am a Nursing student, so I can continue to refresh my biology knowledge by teaching it to others.
Psychology Tutoring
During Fall of 2021, I took Introduction to Psychology and received an A in this course. I am a Nursing major, so the subject matter is important knowledge for my future career. Teaching other students Psychology will allow me to prepare them for their current class and possible an advanced level of this course.
Study Skills Tutoring
Studying techniques are the most important skill students can learn at a young age. When I began my first year at UTSA, I was unable to find ways to remember material based on the subject matter. If I was taught how to study in high school, I would've had better results for my first year of college. My goal is to stress the importance of good study habits to high school students in preparation for advanced studies.

I have informal experience assisting my younger brother on elementary level homework subjects.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I have informal experience educating my younger brother on his multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction skills to improve his overall performance in Elementary Math.
Reading Tutoring
I have informal experience educating my younger brother on reading skills to improve his overall performance to further his grade level of reading.
