Fun Facts
What I like to do for fun is play video games, watch anime/tv shows/movies, and play musical instruments like my guitar. :)
About Me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Denver and what I hope to get out of this is to help people learn about topics they may not understand such as the biological sciences and psychology. This will be a learning experience for me but also something I will enjoy all the way through since learning never ends! It just keeps growing and hopefully, I can further go into higher education such as graduate school to pursue my interests in research.
Experience
While at the University of Colorado Denver, I worked as a Teacher Assistant in the Psychology department where I would have duties such as helping students out on topics that do not make any sense as well as helping with their homework and grading their submissions. Once in a while, I would clarify any duties that I am permitted or not allowed to do by keeping in contact with my professor so that the semester is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Approach
I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful Grandfather by my side as he was like my tutor. He would always tell me while I was having trouble with a topic at school that my efforts trying to learn are what makes a difference in learning something. Even if I did not understand something clear at the moment, I can improve with time and patience to the point of mastering the topic at hand. His positive energy and comfort helped me face obstacles that I want to share with others to learn and achieve

Biology
Science Tutoring
Earth Science A
Science is pretty broad and I have only taken a class that was outside of biology which was earth science.
Math Tutoring
I do not have any transcripts for when I was in Middle School but I was always placed in higher-level math while in Elementary School and all the way up to High School. I believe that Algebra and or trigonometry are taught at this level. While my biology degree does not entirely reflect a lot on mathematics, I did have to take some math courses at the college level to fulfill the degree requirements.
Biology I Tutoring
General Biology 1 B
While I do not have the best-reflected grades in biology, this subject is still interesting to me and I would like to teach it if I am qualified to teach it. If I were to look back at my note when taking it back when I was a Freshman, I can relearn and teach them to students. I hope that my grades do not entirely reflect on what I know in biology as a whole as it is my major.
Biology II Tutoring
General Biology 2 B
Principles of Ecology A
Marine Biology B
While my biology 2 class is not the best of the best when it comes to grades, these classes were taken while I was a freshman at my university. If were to take them again, there is a possible chance that I would have done better the second time taking it.
Psychology Tutoring
Introduction to Psychology 1 A
Psychology of Cultural Diversity A
Principle of Learning and Behavior A; I was a Teacher Assistant for this class. Here I would help grade assignments for students and give any feedback necessary for them to learn. If students had any questions, I would be available to chat via email and through other means of communication like texting or video calling as well.
Abnormal Psychology A
Biological Basis of Behavior A
Human Sexuality A
Psychology of Perception A
Developmental Psychobiology A
Neuropsychology A
Microbiology Tutoring
General Microbiology B
Genomics and Bioinformatics A; Had a research opportunity to identify species of bacteria known to break down 1,4-dioxane in the Lowry Landfill waste site in Denver, Colorado. Here I learned computational skills on taking data and processing them using a tool that analyses microbial data. Here is where I also learned to read scientific literature and comprehension.
Covid-19 Biotech of Pandemics A
Biology Tutoring
Biology Honors A
The curriculum for any biology classes at the High School level and below are less demanding when compared to the university level. Given my biology major, I believe that I can teach biology topics at lower levels more comfortably. Depending on what biological topic is needed to be covered, I can teach it to where it can be understood at the high school level.
Biology AP Tutoring
Biology Honors A
IB Environmental Systems and Societies A
I was part of the IB program which helped students prepare for college courses. I think that with having passed my biology classes at the college level, I can help tutor students at the High School level with applying what I learned when I went to university.
