My favorite place in the world is the beach! Any opportunity I get I will make my way to the closest beach to sit, watch, and listen to the ocean. I am also the oldest of 4 girls in my family!

About Me

I am a first year education/new-york/yorktown">special education teacher in the Bronx. I received my masters degree last year in education/new-york/yorktown">special education/childhood education from Mercy College.

Experience

As a teacher, I have a lot of experience coming up with differentiated materials and approaches to multiple subjects. I work with small groups or one on one often in my job in order for my students to have a fair chance of learning the material being taught to them.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in math. It was something that I had a hard time learning and conceptualizing. I had two teachers who were patient with me and thought of different approaches in order for me to face my fear with learning math as well as find my confidence in learning the subject.
