About Me

I am a 5th-year Ph.D student who has been tutoring on the side for over 5 years now. I adore children and have a passion for teaching and equipping others with the tools they need to be successful.

Experience

I have been tutoring for many years as an extra source of income and have extensive experience tutoring students from 5th grade all the way through master's level coursework. In addition to helping students develop subject knowledge, I also work to improve their general studying skills in order to help them learn more effectively in the future.

Approach

My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves.
