Although I am certified to teach music, I have extensive experience teaching math and ELA to elementary and middle school students.

About Me

I just completed my third year of teaching, and I am passionate about teaching, tutoring, and instilling a lifelong love of learning in young people. Although I am a young teacher, I hold myself to exceptionally high standards and have grown tremendously in my three years as a full time educator. I am motivated to provide students with the best possible education, and I am passionate about shaping young minds. Without a doubt, my days spent teaching my students have been the most fulfilling for me.

Experience

Over the past several years, I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds in a wide variety of settings. In addition to traditional academic settings, I have gained considerable experience teaching K-8 students ELA, math, and music in an online setting over the past two years. I’ve managed groups of students as well as taught one-on-one.

Approach

I absolutely love guiding young students to develop a lifelong appreciation for all subjects, including reading, writing, and math, as well as helping them grow into the leaders of tomorrow. I strive to create a student-centered environment in which I see each student as a unique individual with specific needs. I consistently use positive reinforcement to guide students.
