Pre Algebra Tutoring

I took Algebra in 7th grade and have a strong grasp of pre-Algebraic concepts such as basic equations, perimeter, area, ans solving for angles.

Algebra Tutoring

I took Algebra 1 in 7th grade and got an A in the subject. It was also a subject I really enjoyed.

Geometry Tutoring

I took geometry in 8th grade. I got a B in the subject but did go back to try and get a better understanding of it. As someone who has struggled with the subject, I think I could really help someone who needs help.

Spanish I Tutoring

I took Spanish 1 in 7th grade and it was a class I enjoyed a lot. I got an A in the course and feel like as someone who wasn't a native speaker going into the course, I can better assist someone struggling with the subject.

Study Skills Tutoring

Homework, studying, and test-taking have always been some of my strongsuits; it's all about recognizing how you learn and utilizing that to your advantage. I also took aand aced a course in college called called College Life Management that focused strongly on time management and study skills.

Writing Tutoring

I've always been a proficient writer and have tutored kids on their writing skills in the past, covering everything from grammar, to story structures, to effectively planning out and completing essays, to utilizing the flow of words and phrases into poetry. I've aced English 1A - Reading and Comprehension, and English 3 - Critical Reading and Writing in college, and also took AP Seminar in high school.

Biology Tutoring

Middle school biology was one of my favorite classes when I took it. I loved learning about different biological processes and had a long standing hobby of creating Punnett Squares for fun. It was just a subject I genuinely enjoyed because I really felt like I was learning.

English Tutoring

English has always been a strongsuit of mine and I've aced every English course I've enrolled in. It's something I understand very well and that I enjoy. This includes essays, stories, poetry, and everything in between!

Homework Coach Tutoring

Staying on top of homework is hard. Sometimes you need someone to cheer you on, sometimes you need someone to hold you accountable, and sometimes you need a person who can guide you through it. I can do that, and have experience doing so in both of my tutoring jobs in the past.

In middle school I took Algebra 1 and Geometry, but I also have a strong understanding of pre-Algebra and the base concepts. I've also tutored kids in math in the past.

I took Spanish 1 and 2 in middle school and enjoyed both the courses. I have a good grasp on the concepts covered and the methods used to teach them. I also bring the perspective of a non-native speaker.

Elementary Math Tutoring

I have great experience as an elementary tutor. Math was a subject I greatly helped two children in in particular. I love working with younger kids and explaining the rules and concepts to them.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

Reading comprehension is also one of the main subjects I worked on with one of the children I tutored. As someone with a low attention span when it comes to reading myself, I know how hard it can be, and I also know tricks to get aroud it.

Science Tutoring

Elementary science is a lot of fun to me, and I hope to make it fun for kids too. It's all about seeing the wonder in the world around them and understanding how things work, which is exciting and beautiful!

Social Studies Tutoring

Social Studies in elemetary school is another subject I worked with a particular stufent in. It's something I have great understanding of and great enjoyment for.

Adobe Photoshop Tutoring

I haven't taken any classes on the subject, but I use photoshop on a regular basis. Coloring, adjsuting opacity settings, using the pen tool. cleaning up images with content aware fill, etc. I understand the program and can help someone else hoping to learn more about it.

Basic Computer Skills Tutoring

I grew up in one of the first generations raised on computers. My dad had 6 of them in his office, 2 for him and my mom to work on, and the other 4 for all the kids to play on so we wouldn't disturb him. I know shortcuts, online ettiquette, online research skills, how to navigate ads and emails with caution to avoid viruses and hacking, and also skills like online marketing and outreach for those looking to establish an online presence.

Reading Tutoring

I work well with young children and I have experience teaching basic lanquage skills in other languages (Hebrew) through songs and such.
