About Me

I am currently a sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin. I will receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering in December 2016. I am majoring in Petroleum Engineering because I want to help solve the world's energy dilemma. A career in the oil and gas field offers much opportunity to travel and I would prefer to engineer in the field rather than a office.

Tutored one year at the College of the Canyons through the M.E.S.A program. Taught Math, Physics, and Chemistry.

I do not believe giving answers or helping students memorize steps to the answer is conducive to learning. To understand the problem as a whole, I make a point that the student understand each individual step that will lead to the ultimate solution. Generally, I will introduce easier problems that offer the same concept then work up to the harder problems. Also, from my experience, I had learned to never assume the student has a solid foundation in the current course he/she is taking.
