If I'm not working I'm most likely reading or painting! I'm a big fan of historical fiction and fantasy novels and I love painting landscapes inspired by movies such as, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter!

About Me

I am an undergraduate student studying Art History and minoring in English Literature. I will be graduating in Fall 2022. I learned that through art history, I could combine my love for stories with art. I believe each art piece tells a story. I love traveling and discovered my career path while studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I was entranced by the architecture and artwork that covered the city. My goal is to work as an archive researcher in a history or art museum.

Experience

I have five years of experience as a freelance writer, editor, and copywriter. For the past couple of years, I have been a teacher's aide providing feedback on writing and reading comprehension. Previously I was a librarian assistant, working at the research desk helping students with research and essays. As an art history major, I often focus on important historical worldwide moments throughout time. However, my specialty is war studies from ancient civilizations to modern warfare.

Approach

I was the student all throughout school who never attended. This was not because of a lack of understanding but because I struggled with a mental health disorder. I found solace in the teachers who took their time to understand me. They were the first to realize I was a smart student, therefore giving me the confidence to continue my education. I will always be grateful to those teachers and mentors. It's my mission to help other students who may not have similar teachers as I did!
