I'm currently a student at the New York Film Academy studying my dream career in ACTING! It's pretty fun and exciting, especially since it's what I've always wanted to do and what I've been best at. Yes, I've been good at nerdy school stuff, or I wouldn't be a tutor, but I decided to choose what I was most passionate about. About Me

I am 18, just recently fresh out of high school. I am from maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia, South Carolina (southern belle for the win!) I excelled nicely in high school and loved all of my classes that I was in. I really loved learning. I was in a rigorous 2 year program called International Baccalaureate, which was basically intro courses to college. It was similar to AP but more developed in the writing aspect of the program. The course required much more time commitment considering academics was not the only thing that was required of you. We also had to be involved in our school creatively, actively (like sports), and with community service. The program was designed to make well-rounded students. My main goals and aspirations are simply just to help others grow to their full potentials. I want to see others succeed and understand what they are learning. Life can be such a hassle and so depressing if we can never take hold of the education we are being given. I want others to be able to enjoy what their teachers are teaching them. I want them to enjoy it as much as I did. I know how it feels to not understand something, because it feels very frustrating and exhausting. I remember how it feels to be helped and have someone guide me along. I'd like others to get that same excitement and feeling I got once I figured the problems out.

In high school I was constantly helping my classmates with their work. I was one of the few people who never slacked off and never procrastinated. I was always there to help people with their papers and with other problems they may have had. I am very patient and determined to make sure someone understands what they are confused about. I would help many people with simple problems so that they could move on in the lessons.

My main tutoring philosophy is to just simply never give in and give up. I will help a student until the very end. We will try multiple ways and I just know we can get that light bulb to turn on. I am very relaxed and easy to get along
