Fun Facts

When I have a break from school or work, I take the time to travel with family or friends. One of the recent places I visited this year was New York. I also enjoy outdoor activities, such as going to the slopes and skiing and going jet skiing. Apart from spending my free time outdoors, have learned how to make amazing protein lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote.

About Me

I graduated at the riverside">University of California, Riverside in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences. In my undergraduate career, I was the President of a pre-health organization, traveled for medical missions, and worked in a research facility where I presented my project at a research symposium. Since then, I have worked in a laboratory and tutored while working towards my goal of being a medical physician.

Experience

I have worked as tutor in a middle school and an after school program. I taught students in the subjects of Math, English, and Science. Working alongside teachers, I created supplementary worksheets to reinforce classroom material.

Approach

From my experience working with students and being a student myself, I learned the importance of getting to know the interests and habits of a person in effectively communicating school material. By building rapport, I can better engage them in the subjects that he or she may struggle with. This will also allow me to create an individualized plan to meet their school goals.
