About Me

I hold a BS in math from UNT and MS in applied math from UT Dallas. I was a member of the UNT President’s list for one semester. I hope to learn machine learning and do freelance work.

Experience

I have tutored for over 10 years at Collin College in all their math offerings. I have expanded to private online tutoring. My online experience includes algebra, stats, calculus 1-3, linear algebra, and high school math teacher certification exams.

Approach

I try to be understanding and encouraging to students who struggle in math. Usually in my lesson, I present the information to students. Give them then guided practice. Next reteach if student seems lost. I eventually move to the next topic and repeat the process. I assign independent work after the session.

I am also open to just helping with assignments, test review handouts, or any other math materials the student presents.
