About Me

I have a passion for helping people learn about themselves. Kids especially do not completely understand the way they think or why, so I try to find adapted and innovative ways to help them become independent learners. I am very much interested in therapy, I was a part of a wilderness therapy job for a while until I broke my leg. Helping kids learn to emotional regulate themselves was absolutely amazing. Also, Nature is phenomenal. ::)

Experience

I am currently a homeschool tutor gor a rising 9th grader. I have been tutoring off and on in both college level and grade schools for a couple of years.

Approach

I excelled through school as a child.. it wasn't until I grew up that I realized why other people do not. I have learned to approach different learning styles and different thought processes, and what that means for each individual student. I make individual approaches to learning based on the student and I allow them to be involved in the decision making process.
