In my free time, you can find me either reading a great book on my Kindle or on a long run! I also have a small Yorkie and she loves to go on walks around the neighborhood.

About Me

I hold a bachelor's degree in history from Elon University and a master's degree in elementary education from North Carolina State University. I am about to begin my first year teaching in August.

Experience

As part of my graduate program, I have studied various pedagogical approaches proven to effectively help elementary students learn. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students through fieldwork and student teaching in an elementary classroom.
