I'm hip and fun, yet intense and focused as well. Formerly worked in the entertainment industry as a DJ and owned my own game store. Decided to switch fields and move into the health field, and I'm scheduled to take the MCAT in January.

About Me

I have a passion for social and economic justice issues, and I believe that responsibility is a privilege not a burden. I recently finished volunteering tutoring at a homeless shelter, and helping others to empower themselves is something that I find deeply satisfying for my soul.

Experience

I was a tutor for my school's physical science learning center teaching gen chem, organic chem, physics, and so forth. I also personally created and still maintain facebook groups in these subjects most of which have about 500 + members each.
I also currently teach chess for the Manhattan Youth Community Center, and I've been privately tutoring for over a decade.
I also received a personal commendation from NYS Assemblywoman Ellen Young for my instruction in self defense. I also teach violin,

Approach

My approach is to first understand my clients goals. From there I work to establish a solid framework based on good fundamentals. I seek to duplicate test conditions as much as possible, and prepare my clients for the typical tricks and traps used by test makers.
I teach test taking strategies simultaneously while teaching content, for a test is given within a certain time frame, and being able to finish questions quickly and accurately is essential for creating a good score.
