About Me

As a mom and foster mom, I learned patience and diverse learning styles. As a university instructor in many subject areas, I know we each can become our best selves through a commitment to introspection and the synthesis of new ideas!

Experience

As 3rd of 7 children in my family, I learned compassion, care, and sharing from a very young age. We're on this Earth to learn from each other, and work together to make the world a better place for all.

Approach

I listen first, and study to understand the learners' needs and the details of the assignment or task; then, we co-create our goals and move forward. We make it fun on the learning journey. When our learners know we care about them, they can remove their cloak of insecurity and spend less energy and time worrying. Then, we can help shift the paradigm to "lifelong learning" as an admirable and healthy goal.
