Fun Facts
Soccer is a huge part of my life. I used to play club and academy soccer. I have always loved watching and keeping up with soccer around the world. I also have found an interest in biking this last year, so I bike on trails in my free time.
About Me
I am a rising sophomore science/california/roseville">Computer Science major and Mathematics minor at Santa Clara University.
Experience
As a member of my high school's honor society in my junior and senior years of high school, I tutored students in middle school math, algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. During my senior year, my AP Chemistry teacher requested for me to tutor a sophomore chemistry student throughout the year. After graduating high school, I tutored a student that was retaking geometry over the summer.
Approach
I, personally, have always excelled at math, but as the years went by, I came to realize that most students do not have the same experience with math as I do. Many have an awful experience with math and come to hate it. My goal is to motivate these students. I want to help them understand the reasoning behind each step they take in problems. I will encourage them to develop a growth mindset when doing math.

College Algebra Tutoring
I took the whole algebra series in my first two years of high school. I received an A in both algebra classes. I am very familiar with algebra. I have experience tutoring high school and middle school algebra students.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took Pre-Calculus in my junior year of high school. I received an A in the class. Since the rest of the calculus series builds upon this subject, I am familiar with it. I have experience tutoring high school pre-calculus students.
Calculus I Tutoring
I have taken AP Calculus AB and Calculus I. I received an A in both classes and got the highest score (5) on the AP Calculus AB exam. Having recently taken the classes and similar classes that build upon it, I can explain the subject well.
