About Me

My name is Verenice Montenegro. I love reading in my spare time and I have recently re-discovered my love for running. I am currently training to run the NYC Marathon this fall.

Experience

I have worked at a DOE school for 5 years now. I work have also worked in after-school programs and Summer camp as well.

Approach

I currently work under my Childhood Education license. However, I decided to pursue my Master’s in education/new-york/new-york">Special Education because I wanted to be able to better support all students in my classroom. My education/new-york/new-york">Special Education background has helped me broaden my horizons so that I can help a wider range of students.
