Fun Facts

I very much enjoy music and art and I play the drums. I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunists for world travel, including India, Nepal, Qatar, Holland, and Hong Kong. During the NHL Hockey season you will find me rooting for The San Jose Sharks, and The New York Rangers.

About Me

I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Indiana State University. An
Associate of Applied Science degree in Design Technology from IVY Tech State College. I have also completed the Accelerated Teacher Licensure Program, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Experience

My most recent teaching experiences have been at the American Language Center in Kathmandu, Nepal. I taught Conversational English and Business Conversation Skills. I have also taught in Indianapolis Public Schools giving instruction in 10th Grade Geography,8th Grade United States History, and 7th Grade World Studies.

Approach

There is no one best teaching style. Effective teachers use a variety of styles, and I know how and when to choose the most appropriate one for the specific situation.
