Approach
My approach to tutoring is to instill confidence in the child. This works because sometimes, the child knows the answer but doubts themselves and picks the wrong option. With confidence, they will be able to still to the knowledge they know. Also, in the event that they don't know the answer, confidence makes them more comfortable to explain their thoughts process allowing me identify what concepts they struggle with.
