I always love to bake new desserts, especially when they involve recipes in different languages! Even though the soufflé doesn't always rise, it's always a joy to have friends and family come together to enjoy what I've made :-)

About Me

I am a high school graduate entering CUNY Hunter College with the hope of attaining a psychology degree whilst maintaining a part-time online tutoring job on the side!

Experience

I had many opportunities to assist elementary and middle schoolers with their reading and writing skills. I was especially recommended by my French teacher to regularly tutor in my high school's language center. My tutoring experience is not limited to the school year, but extends to the summer months as well --- I was fortunate enough to teach children from underprivileged backgrounds how to play guitar in July and August of last year.

Approach

In elementary school, I struggled immensely with reading comprehension and proper communication of my ideas. I was incredibly lucky to receive assistance from a teacher early on. Her persistence and patience motivated me to believe in my own capability to learn. Extra help turned out to be the key to my improvement and boosted my confidence to help others in the process.
