I love to travel, I have been up and down the east cost of the United States. I have also travelled to Australia, the UK, and Czech Republic. I love learning about niche historical events as well as the governments of world countries.

I am currently in school for my Master's Degree at UNCW. I have been a high school Social Studies & Government teacher for the past 4 years. I am an avid reader of nonfiction book.s

Experience

As a high school history teacher, I held salem">tutoring sessions twice a week where students could acquire assistance in any of their social studies classes. I tracked data through grades as well as contacting parents.

Approach

I am a student of history. Unfortunetly, it was not a subject that I developed a strong interest in until after high school. I believe that anybody can have social studies tailored in a way that speaks to them and helps them understand their importance and how they can change the world around them. I want students to make sense of the world around them and understand how we got to where we are today.
