I am the youngest with three older brothers and three older sisters, and I love to read! Give me a good mystery novel and I will read it cover to cover. I just recently had a baby boy and I have been married for 3 years.

About Me

I am a senior at Western Governor’s University focusing on a major in Elementary Education. When I graduate I would like to get my masters in Curriculum instruction at Western Governor’s University! I love education, I feel it is the best gift one can give.

Experience

As a STEM and NHS member at Poston Butte High School, I helped with tutoring all through out high school in math, science, and reading. I did my student teaching in a fifth grade classroom and took over for a few months. I also now work as a substitute for elementary grades.

Approach

I approach teaching like all things in life with positivity and encouragement. My grandmother used to say if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all and my dad instilled in me how important education is for someone to get ahead in life so I use encouragement and kindness to teach and share knowledge with anyone willing to listen.
