Fun Facts

I love ballet, zumba, and surfing. I grew up in a large and fun family. I have two older sisters and two younger sisters. I have been unofficially tutoring my younger siblings since I was five years old, and even now at the age of 30 my baby sister still calls me up for advice sometimes.

About Me

I am a Registered Nurse. I worked for many years caring for pediatric patients. I often said the children that I cared for were my heroes. Children who grow up with chronic illness are some of the strongest human beings on the planet. I am also a children's book author. I don't just care for kids but I love to entertain and educate them as well! I work as a part time ballet teacher. That sounds like too many things, but, I have plenty of energy, I love people and I can’t wait to get to know you

Experience

I was an English tutor at my college. I worked at the school library's tutoring center. I helped college students with organization, comprehension of classwork and completion of their assignments. I love to help students edit their written papers. I also love kids, so later I enjoyed worked in nursing for years caring for pediatric patients.

Approach

I have always been bookish. I was the kid that tripped over their own feet because I was convinced it was possible to read and walk at the same time. I love to share my passion for learning with others. I am naturally patient with others as they grow in knowledge. I believe kindness can make the world a better place.
