I have many pets, people always get a shock out of hearing that I have 3 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 birds!

About Me

I have two degrees, one in Zoo Science and one in Elementary Education. I have an 2.5 year old son and love to help people learn especially the younger kids. I am the middle child in my family, I have an older brother and a younger brother and grew up moving around since my dad was in the air force.

Experience

I have helped children with homework while babysitting, have worked for years with infants up to pre-k age kids and did a semester student teaching 2nd grade kids. I also enjoy helping my friends and family with basic computer questions.

Approach

I moved every 2-2.5 years growing up so it made learning interesting. Sometimes when I would show up at a new school I would have to read the same book again or learn some of the same stuff again for a little bit. Also different states have different teaching methods, requirements, so it kept me on my toes.
