About Me

My name is Dr. Isiah Lyman. I have been a professional educator for over 10 years. I have taught students from pre-k all the way to post graduate studies. I specialize in being able to break down very complex materials in a practical way that students can understand aligning with their specific learning styles, strengths, and unique life obligations. Approach

I take a student-centered approach to tutor to help the student identify his or her specific learning goals and develop an effective and manageable tutoring plan to be implemented in 1-1 session. Furthermore, I tend to also take a Socratic Method approach prompting students to better hone their critical thinking skills for increased academic performance.
