I love children, but I also love to help people. Outside of tutoring I am a dance choreographer in the DFW area. I love to swim and be outdoors whenever the weather permits it.

About Me

I am a Texas native, born and raised in the central Texas area. I obtained 2 Associate degrees in the area of Education from Tarrant County College. I learned sign language at Texas Christian University, and wish to continue my studies there, in the area of Deaf Education.

Experience

I have been working in the Education system since 2017. I started as a 3rd grade Teacher Assistant at a charter school in Fort Worth, Tx. I then moved on to Early childhood education as a floating Teacher Assistant around the DFW area. While obtaining my degrees at TCC, I was hired as a Laboratory Assistant within the Biology labs on campus. I currently tutor all age groups, from Pre-school to adults.

Approach

I am a firm believer in gaining knowledge with an understanding. I have found throughout the years, that we can obtain the knowledge of something, without a true understanding of how to apply the knowledge that we have learned about. Everyone understands things differently, and it is my job to adjust to my approach to teaching to match and individuals level of understanding.
