Since I obtained my Master's degree, I continually take courses through The Great Courses, a subsidiary of The Learning Company, for fun! I keep up to date watching lectures from the top professors in the world on History, Humanities, Art, and anything that strikes my fancy. I'm a nerd.

About Me

I love tutoring online and teaching online as well. I try to be as involved as I can in all areas of education, and I feel that tutoring keeps me in touch with what is happening with students across the world and the country. I think this helps me connect with them as I meet them in my online college classes.

Experience

I have been tutoring throughout my career. When I began teaching as an adjunct, I was also employed at the writing centers for the colleges where I taught. I have tutored privately and online as well. I bring sixteen-plus years of experience to the table, and I hope to continue with your company.

Approach

It is my mission to help students love to learn. Even though students who come to tutoring are struggling, I find that my positive attitude, and the questions that I prompt them to ask, helps them to unlock their potential as a learner. I love the light bulb moments, and I strive constantly to achieve those.
