Being the oldest of 12 children I understand firsthand what it’s like to desire a little help and not always know where to find it. That makes me extra in tune with being able to provide each student with a personalized experience to ensure their success.

About Me

I am currently a 2nd year Masters student studying Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics, this is all in hopes of pursuing a PhD in Astrobiology and a career with NASA as an astronaut. My life’s goal is to inspire, lead, and elevate those around me while drawing from them as well to better myself.

Experience

I currently serve as a part time tutor here on campus at Illinois Institute of Technology for Biology and Chemistry primarily. I have the chance on a weekly basis to provide students with the help they need.

Approach

Like so many children, I did struggle with school for a small while. But once I grasped the information and began to excel, I always looked for ways to give back to those around me. Being a big brother I have an innate desire to make sure that those who struggle have access to resources that alleviate that. No child left behind has a real and fresh meaning for me.
