Fun Facts
I am the oldest of five! I have two cute little guinea pigs named Bean and Mocha. I love listening to all kinds of music (ranging from the Beetles, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, you name it). I truly cannot live without my Spotify because music is such a big part of my life. I absolutely LOVE being around kids when it comes to anything! I have taught many preschool classes within the past four years and it made me realize what I wanted to do for the rest of my life!
About Me
I am a 21 year old college student in West Columbia, TX and I currently attend Dallas College (Cedar Valley) for a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Teaching. My goal is to become an educator as soon as I possibly can because I truly enjoy working with students and being able to form a bond with children that need an important mentor in their life!
Experience
I was in a high school class for my whole four years that required me to lesson prep, teach, study child theory, and assist toddlers in their learning experience before they attend Kindergarten. I also have had the pleasure of helping out my fellow students in my off time when it came to extra help on homework assignments. I am very confident in Math, Science, Reading, Italian, and more!
Approach
When I was approaching middle school, I had such a rough time with learning topics I was not sufficient in (History and Science). I have had the blessing of having a ton of teachers to help me out ever since then, I have a ton of respect for the ones who have help me come a long way for me to be here at this point in life today. Now I feel like being able to give back and give the gift of learning and teaching to other students since they are our future and they are crucial to our society!

Elementary Math Tutoring
Math is one of my strongest subjects out of all of the learning aspects of school. I have a passion for math and I have very easy methods of teaching the basics of math and how simple it can be for a student to grasp on to a subject they may tend to have a hard time with. Math has always been my highest grade no matter how old I was (near perfect scores: 96-98%) and it just happened to be the subject I clicked with the most
Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring
As a future educator, it is important for me to understand the importance of all Microsoft programs and how they can help in the learning process. PowerPoint has been used for many of my class assignments and projects as well as creating lesson presentations to students.
Microsoft Word Tutoring
I have been using Microsoft Word ever since I was a little girl in middle school. I use it endlessly for school assignments, exams, projects, and much more. With all of the new updates that come to Microsoft's platform, there are many ways people can easily navigate around the progam
GED Tutoring
I have not graduated from a traditional high school. Instead, I have homeschooled myself to be proficient in all subjects across the board in order to attain my HISET GED certificate, making me advance to college level. Due to the research I have done in my own time, it was easy for me to make a curriculum plan for myself when it came to every single subject and what to expect on the test. I scored very high on almost all subjects because of the way I taught myself.
Italian Tutoring
I have taken many years of Italian classes (two out of those four being able to be transferred to community college credits). I even went to Italy in 2019 as a spring break trip and it was a very easy language for me to grasp because of my former teacher's amazing methods!! While in Italy, it was so nice to be able to talk to the locals even if my grammar wasn't entirely perfect due to dialect in different locations.
Science Tutoring
Biology, Chemistry, and Physics has been one of my many highest scores that have counted toward my high GPA throughout high school and college. I scored a very high grade in Biology and since math was so easy to me, Chemistry and Physics were always a walk in the park for me because of my former teacher's methods of projecting the lesson to her students!
Basic Computer Skills Tutoring
I grew up with so much technology that it feels like second nature to me. I took many computer classes in middle and high school that have allowed me to be proficient and literate in this subject.
