A fun fact about me is that I love to game! Playing Minecraft, Farming Simulator 22 or Final Fantasy X is what I enjoy doing to unwind after a long day.

About Me

I am a senior at City University in a Master's in Teaching program with Teacher Certification. I currently hold a 3.6 GPA at CityU and am a member of Phi Sigma Theta Honors Society. I have also made the Dean's List several semesters in a row.

Experience

I have nearly five years of substitute experience, teaching a wide range of subjects and a wide range of learning styles.

Approach

I believe in encouragement and problem solving. If a student is having a difficult time with a subject, I look at the learner as a person, not just a student. How is that student doing with their emotional well-being (self-doubt/inner critic vs. inner coach)? If it's not a barrier outside of learning, let's look at multiple ways to approach the learning challenge to solve it. Growth Mindset is very important to me, as well as social emotional well-being.
