About Me

I have been a lead classroom teacher for 12+ years. I have certifications and experience teaching in elementary and education/florida/cape-coral">special education for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. I started my career in New York, where I attended St. John's University for my Masters in education. Three years ago I relocated to Florida with my family. I earned my Florida professional teaching license an have been teaching and tutoring students ever since.

Experience

While teaching in grades 3-5 I provided test preparation/intervention in both reading, writing, and math. My life’s passion is working with children, especially students with special needs. I graduated with a Dual Master’s degree from St. John’s University in both general elementary and education/florida/cape-coral">special education in 2011. In my teaching I utilize a student-centered approach and incorporate visual aids to boost engagement and learning. My approach is to differentiate instruction based on my students needs and provide instruction that engages and makes learning fun for all ages.
