Fun Facts

I love collecting houseplants and fossils. I have over 55 indoor plants at home! I love to take my two dogs out for walks in the park every day. My favorite hobby is cake decorating even though I don’t love to eat cake.

About Me

I am working on my second bachelor's degree at UT Arlington. I want to one day work in the medical field as a nurse practitioner.

Experience

As a Teacher’s assistant for the plant science lab, I worked with students to teach them about plant cells, structures, and classifications. I enjoyed helping others learn one of my favorite subjects.

Approach

I know from experience that tough classes can be stressful. I like to foster a positive attitude towards challenging classes by making learning exciting and fun. I start with the organization of notes and coursework to alleviate some anxiety and to make classes seem less daunting. I combine textbook reading and note-taking with detailed visual aids. This approach has helped me and my students comprehend and retain complicated scientific concepts. I love to learn and hope to share that with you!
