Fun Facts

I am 23 years old Butler grad with a dog named Rosie & a corn snake named Lucy. My favorite color is purple & for fun I read, lift weights, & craft. I am the oldest of three with 2 younger brothers. My brothers play soccer & I am their number 1 cheerleader; it is also the sport of choice in my house. I am thrilled it is summer because soccer starts again & it is my favorite season! About Me

I am a hard worker with a positive attitude. I am 6 credits away from graduating from Butler University where I study Management Information Systems with a background in accounting. My freshman year at Butler I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA for both semesters. Then during my sophomore and junior years at Butler I was my sorority's VP of Finance. I created a budget of about $540,000 to run and manage the sorority for our fiscal year. My graduating GPA was a 3.5. I am looking forward to a job in the IT field in risks and controls that will challenge me. I want my position to utilize my problem solving and creative skills. Eventually, I hope to relocate to Houston, TX.

Experience

In both middle school and high school I was a member of the National Honor Society. This required hours of volunteering and indianapolis">tutoring to fellow students. Additionally, in high school I gave my study halls to my favorite math teacher as her Teachers Assistant. This gave me the opportunity to indianapolis">tutor her geometry and algebra II students. These moments become some of my fondest memories of high school. Following high school, I was able to assist sisters within the sorority with their business courses.

Approach

To start the session I first like to introduce myself to the student and parent (if present) to make sure they are comfortable and at ease. Then I like to take a look at the subject we will be working on and see what I need to accomplish during our session. I break down more specifically what we need to cover in the allotted time and create a written schedule for us to refer to. Finally, we jump into the work with a positive attitude, working problems together and challenging the student solo.
