About Me

Hi there! I’m Olivia. I love English, and I enjoy encouraging students and helping them reach their full potential.

I have experience with all kinds of English. I am an award-winning writer from my academic work at university, but I also teach English as a Second Language to students from many different backgrounds. From university-level academics to literature classes to test prep to practice English skills, I have the experience to help you excel.

Experience

I have over 5 years of experience helping people learn to write better in English. I was a Writing Consultant at the richmond">University of Richmond, where I worked one-on-one with students in all subjects to help them improve their writing. I earned a B.A. in English Literature there, as well as multiple awards for my writing. I am also certified as a TEFL instructor, which I use to teach English online to students from all over the world.

Approach

No matter what your level of English or writing is, I will work with you to help you reach your goals. I do not have a one-size-fits-all approach; rather, I find out each student’s needs and tailor our lessons to fit that. I try to critique my students while also encouraging and motivating them. I know I can help you improve your English or writing in a fun, friendly, and effective way.
