About Me

I am a current student at Highline College. I am studying Elementary Education. I have a background in ABA and behavior therapy, and I am experienced working with children who present challenging behaviors. I believe in building confidence first!

Experience

Through the pandemic, I spent an entire year tutoring young students, ages pre-third. Afterward, I shifted towards working as a behavior specialist in a education/washington/tacoma">special education room. This is where I learned resilience and practical yet challenging standards.

Approach

I firmly believe in building a child up first. Confidence is key in mastering tricky, new skills. Second, I know learning is more practical when we can bring fun and games into lessons! A friendly relationship where the child enjoys tutoring is essential for meeting goals. I believe we can learn and have fun at the same time. No child should dread the classroom or a meeting with their tutor.
