Fun Facts

I play the French horn and piano. I once traveled over 10,000 miles on a bus touring the country with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. I have all helper verbs memorized (be, am, is, are... etc.) I've been to Europe. I like stand-up paddle boarding. I think everything is better with bacon.

About Me

I have a degree in Music Performance from Capital University. Then I went back to school for nursing, and got my Associate's degree at Columbus State. Now I'm back at Capital to complete my BSN. I currently work for Nationwide Children's Hospital as a private duty nurse, but also have extensive experience in pharmacy.

I taught piano lessons for two years after I got my first degree, so I like one-on-one interaction. I taught people ages three to adult. I had sixty students a week who performed successfully in recitals.

I like finding out ways that people learn and tailoring a lesson plan to meet their needs. It's best to come up with a successful plan and then practice repetitions, whether it's nursing questions or music. I look forward to meeting new clients.
